MiraSOFT™ and MiraLAX® are both laxative products that work naturally with your body to relieve occasional constipation. However, they work in different ways, so the right choice depends on your needs.

MiraSOFT™ is a stool softener designed for when you are dealing with hard, dry stools that are difficult or uncomfortable to pass. It contains docusate sodium which works with the water in your body to hydrate and soften stool, making it easier to go. It typically works within 12 to 72 hours. It comes in easy-to-swallow liquid gels.

MiraLAX® is a gentle, osmotic laxative designed to relieve occasional constipation. It contains polyethylene glycol 3350 (PEG), which works by drawing water into the intestines to soften and help get things moving again, providing gentle relief without forcing your system. MiraLAX® typically helps to produce a bowel movement in 1 to 3 days. It comes in a powder form that can dissolve in any hot or cold beverage. 

MiraSOFT™ Stool Softener Liquid Gels directly target your stool.  They work naturally with the water in your body to hydrate and soften hard stool, making it easier to pass.

MiraSOFT™ Stool Softener Liquid Gels generally provide occasional constipation relief within 12-72 hours after the first dose. However, this can vary according to the individual.

MiraSOFT™ Stool Softener Liquid Gels work by softening hard stool rather than stimulating bowel movement, so they are designed to provide relief without cramping or sudden urgency.

• Adults and children 12 years and older: Take 1 to 3 liquid gels per day or as directed by a doctor. This dose may be taken as a single daily dose or in divided doses.
• Children 6 to under 12 years: Take 1 softgel daily or as directed by a doctor.
• Children under 6 years of age: Ask a doctor.

MiraSOFT™ can be taken at any time of day, as long as you follow the recommended dosage instructions.

Yes, MiraSOFT™ can be taken while traveling if you experience occasional constipation. Changes in routine, diet, or hydration can sometimes lead to harder stools, and MiraSOFT™ helps soften stool for more comfortable bowel movements. Be sure to take it with a full glass of water and follow all usage directions.

If pregnant or breast feeding, ask your healthcare professional before using MiraSOFT™ Stool Softener Liquid Gels.

MiraSOFT™ should be taken with a full glass (8 ounces) of water. Water helps it work by softening hard stool, so you can go more comfortably.

Do not use MiraSOFT™ Stool Softener Liquid Gels for longer than one week without checking with your doctor.
